Ronaldo netted a brace as Al-Nassr outclassed Al-Ittihad 4-2 in their final league game of the season on Monday. The 39-year-old's double in the game saw him break the record for scoring the most goals in a single Saudi Pro League season. His 35th strike took him past Moroccan forward Abderrazak Hamdallah's tally of 34 goals which was set during the 2018-19 campaign.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United star also took his personal goals tally to 50 in as many games in the 2023-24 season for Al-Nassr. The team also breached the 100-goal mark in the league for the first time in their history.
